Junior Data Scientist | AI & ML Focus | 20-30k (Contract)

We are supporting a large enterprise client who is expanding their data science and AI capability. They are looking for a hands‑on Data Scientist with a strong machine learning engineering mindset to help build, scale, and operationalize ML and GenAI use cases across markets.

This role suits someone technical, curious, and comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment that encourages innovation.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and maintain machine learning models to address real business needs such as customer insights, demand forecasting, and cross‑selling.
• Support scaling of successful AI/ML solutions from pilot to regional deployment.
• Contribute to GenAI and analytics initiatives, including recommendation systems, personalization, and process automation.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business teams to turn insights into actionable results.
• Prepare documentation and concise presentations to share solutions across teams and markets.

Key Requirements
• Min. 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer.
• Strong hands‑on experience in machine learning algorithms, Python, and common ML libraries, with practical exposure to GenAI and LLM use cases highly preferred.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin is highly preferred, with good communication skills.
• Retail or luxury industry experience is a must.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is highly preferred.
